<insert title>! Managed to get Photoshop to work on Ubuntu, so now my Linux world is complete.

I told you how alot of things work on Ubuntu through the power of Wine (not the alcoholic beverage but software called Wine). Unfortunately my favourite program, Photoshop CS4 does not work…
Now people who know linux or OSS programs would know about GIMP (basically an open source alternative to Photoshop), I have already tried it, to be honest it just can’t replace it. So if anyone out there can help to make it work on Wine please reply with instructions. I have tried to do it I just keep failing, but I am trying once again.
I have been using the Windows 7 RC as my main OS on my main computer for a while now (NOT advised… do NOT do that). It was going good though until Windows 7 decided to check for problems on my hard drive. Doesn’t sound too bad does it? Well it turned out not be… so Windows 7 decided to make a problem, by deleting a critical system file. I couldn’t boot up Windows 7 and use my computer any more… not to worry I could still back up my files thanks to wonderful Linux (Puppy Dog Linux ).
So now instead of trying to reinstall Windows 7, I installed my copy of Ubuntu. The decision was mainly made by the fact that more games could be played on Linux (The Sims 3! ). So now I am enjoying my computer through the awesomeness that is Ubuntu.
(Just so you know, YES I was plugging Ubuntu and Linux, and hey I don’t care that I was. Mainly because Linux is “free”)
UPDATE
Not only do my Windows games and apps work on Ubuntu, I just found out to customize it appearance-wise and it is just awesome. I will get a video or some screenshots up of certain elements of the customized Ubuntu interface. By the way, this isn’t your massive “Make you Windows XP look like Vista/Seven” customizations it just tiny little adjustments that have crazy good results.

Well this week my American relatives came over here for a little ‘vacation’. And my uncle gave me a new camera. Well the camera model is old (who cares?) but the actual camera is brand new. It’s a Fujifilm FinePix S5700 or just S700, it’s got 7.1 megapixels and 10x optical zoom. Yeah I know there are phones that have .9 more megapixels than this camera but hey, it was free so I am happy.
Also expect some behind the scenes/preview/teaser/whatever-the-hell-you-want-to-call-it footage from two upcoming WOMS films. Be watching.

Well this blog has barely been touched since it has been set up, unfortunately been spending time studying and working on the WOMS site. So, we have are making a film in the coming weeks and hopefully I can blog or Tweet about what I am doing, because you are guys are Internet Stalkers (Passive ones… I hope).
